I decided I would actually break open the the iMac after watching videos from iFixit and OWC. About two full months after the Apple Care was done I got a SMART warning that the hard drive could fail. I am assuming you have a fusion drive? Is that correct? I bought mine iMac 2012 refurb about 3 years ago last May the money saved went to Apple Care as I did not know if I could repair the darn thing.
